At the start of every hair care appointment, the stylists listen to clients’ wants and needs before establishing a hair care plan. Then, before clients walk out the door at the end of the appointment, the stylists make sure clients are satisfied with their look and hair care services.

Periwinkles Salon stylists participate in continuing education session to maintain their skills, stay up-to-date on the latest hair care trends, and provide the best possible experience for their clients. Meet Our Team:
Maria Schmidt
Owner / Stylist
Maria founded Periwinkles Hair Salon in 2015. She worked behind the chair for 20+ years until she took a leap, and opened her own business. Since then, she has renovated two local building, transforming them from their former lives into beautiful salons.
When Maria isn’t behind the chair, she is likely landscaping her salons or fussing with her plants at home. She enjoys going up north, spending time outside with her pup & grand pups, or spoiling her grand babies.
She is thankful for the wonderful community she’s been blessed with to grow her business. Maria is currently not accepting new clients, but is eager to find a good match for you with her trusted employees.
Lea Schmidt
Stylist / Manager at Periwinkles
“Hi, I’m Lea! I’ve been in the beauty industry since August of 2014. I grew up right here in Greenville, and graduated from Hortonville High School. My husband and I met in high school, got married in 2019, and have 2 kids; a boy & a girl. For me, doing hair is not only a job but also a hobby. I enjoy getting creative with colors and cuts. I’m always up for a challenge with a color correction, and I love creating the perfect blondes. I look forward to meeting you in my chair :)”

Sydney loves to spend her time outdoors with her fiancé at their new house in the country, with their fur babies, Goose & Winnie! Interesting fact, Sydney is in her last year of contract with the Army National Guard after serving almost 6 years!

When she isn’t perfecting her skills in the salon, you can likely find her at the gym, reading a good book, or relaxing with her sassy pup, Luna & cat, Poppy.

Hi there! My name is Jenna, and I am a licensed stylist since 2022. I was born & raised in Wisconsin on a dairy farm. When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my fiancé and sweet, three year-old boy. I am getting married in May of 2025! I look forward to having you in my chair!
Michelle Dekarske

Periwinkles, an Aveda Salon in Greenville, Wisconsin, provides comprehensive hair care services for teens, men, and women. Limited walk-in appointments are available, so booking ahead recommended. Bridal parties are encouraged to schedule hair care appointments at least 6 months before the wedding day.
