Periwinkles Salons is two, family-owned and operated boutique hair salons. Periwinkles – A Boutique Salon is located in Greenville, WI since 2015. Blooming Dale – A Boutique Salon is located in Dale, WI since 2022.
Our Story
Our owner, Maria, worked behind the chair for 25+ years before taking the big leap of starting her own business. Decades of hard work, long nights, and endless experience had prepared her for creating this successful company. Initially renting a facility in Greenville, Maria purchased her own building in 2019. She renovated a vacant tax office at N1826 Municipal Drive, Greenville, Wisconsin, creating an Aveda concept hair salon for eight stylists. Then in 2022, Maria purchased a vacant bank in Dale, Wisconsin, to open Blooming Dale Hair Salon, located at W9696 Highway 96.
Why Periwinkles?
Where did that name stem from? Growing up, Maria would travel to the south of Florida to visit her parents. Walks on the beach, boat rides in the Gulf, & family time made for her ULTIMATE happy place. In the quaint town she’d visit, a flourishing store stole her heart, and it was named Periwinkles. When Maria decided to start her business, she wanted to give her guests that warm, inviting, relaxing atmosphere she had once experienced. We give you, Periwinkles! Relax, & unwind with us inside our slice of heaven.
Family Owned & Operated
Maria and her daughters, Katie and Lea, operate the boutique hair salons with the help of about a dozen experienced, Wisconsin-licensed cosmetologists. Together, the two sister salons offer comprehensive hair care services to teens, men, and women in the Outagamie County communities of Greenville, Appleton, Dale, New London, and Hortonville. The salons use primarily Aveda products for shampoo, conditioner, color, and treatments and offer Aveda products for purchase.
Unique Characteristics
Both Periwinkles and Blooming Dale hair salons hold characteristics of their former lives as a tax office and bank, respectively. The salons’ quaint, charming atmosphere offers a unique experience to every client and guest. The salons are clean and attractive, inside and out. In 2020, the Town of Greenville presented Periwinkles Salon and Boutique with the Greenville Landscape Beautification Award.
Boutique & Self-Care Products
The boutique at Periwinkles Salon features a variety of self-care products and accessories. Pamper yourself with a face mask, bath salts, bath bombs, body lotions, lip gloss, or lip balms. Sport a new look with handmade jewelry or hairclips. Treat yourself or a friend to candles, tote bags, key chains, and seasonal gift items. The boutique is located in the lobby of Periwinkles.

Schedule an Appointment
Periwinkles, an Aveda Salon in Greenville, Wisconsin, provides comprehensive hair care services for teens, men, and women. Limited walk-in appointments are available, so booking ahead recommended. Bridal parties are encouraged to schedule hair care appointments at least 6 months before the wedding day.
